HOW IT WORKS
Oriometer uses patented Light Direction Detection (LDD) and Light Condition Detection (LCD) arrays that measure how energy — visible, NIR, SWIR, MWIR, LWIR— strikes microstructured photodiodes.
Each Oriometer node extracts:
- Azimuth (θ)
- Elevation (ψ)
- Energy intensity
- Spread function (how large the fire appears)
- Temporal dynamics (growth, oscillation, flicker)
Multiple nodes create a 3D fire map for firefighters, suppression systems, and automation.
